Greek Implosion

Filed under: European Debt Implosion — totallygroovygirlfriday @ 12:32 pm

Another very interesting post over at Slog’s site on the Greek bailout. Click here. Also, check out the link at the bottom of Slog’s post.

How’s it going? It’s not going according to plan or according to how the media is portraying it. As suspected, the recent “voluntary cut” was a short-term, very short-term, fix.

  1. Wow …I knew it was bad but holy cow … Not that bad. If I were Greece I’d leave the Euro tonight and restart the Drachma and let the inflation hit. Things would be more expensive, but at least my people would be getting money to buy food. Greece is unable to pay their own people, albeit they brought this on themselves, and the only way out is to cut spending, reissue the drachma and look for get ready for the tourist season.

I have good friends in Greece. They just to make an honest living and enjoy life. Is that too much to ask?
