If you haven’t seen it, this interview on Max Keiser’s show with Jim Rickards is very good. Click here.

  1. At one time I thought Rickards was one of the “good” guys, now I’m not so sure.
Note how in the interview he comes off as a EU fiscal union being a wise move. Since when is giving up sovereignty to an unaccounted, unelected committee of bankster puppets a wise move?

Also, have you ever noted how about every interview with him he is introduced as being associated with a new firm?

Finally, he has publicly stated in major media that Jamie Dimon should step down. Also highly critical of little Timmy.
While I’ll agree these two need to go, don’t you think it odd that an insider such as Rickards would make an enemy of two such powerful figures?
Unless of course, Rickards had an equally powerful force backing him.

Perhaps I’m being overly paranoid, nevertheless, I’ll be watching him closely. He is afterall a great source oinformation, there’s no denying that.
He packs more insightful, concise information into an interview than anyone I’ve seen.

  2. Dee,

You are asking very wise questions.

Groovygirl has been thinking about this possibility as well. Not necessarily with Jim Rickards, but any gold bug or dollar collapse spokesperson. Really anyone. Someone that has been around a long time saying all the right things could be a valuable person to sway politicians, news organizations, and others to a path that may not be the best outcome. Or a person to help them keep their power or create new laws that may seem good, but really create a negative long-term outcome.

It is always a good idea to keep re-investigating the people we listen to. Has their message changed? Are they being seen with people/politicians/corporations from the opposite camp? Is their business associated with people from the opposite camp? Is there other/outside support for their message? Is it still inline with untainted data? Does it still make sense? How does it compare with others we have been listening to for a long time?

Now, gg also wants to say that if someone should say something questionable, we should not automatically assume they have “changed camps” or are working toward the common un-good. Or even that everything they say from that point on has no value. These are very confusing and complicated times. The best of them can not predict very detail, therefore, they can not have the best solution.

New information is coming in daily, it would take a super human to take it all in and come up with the correct conclusion and best solution to every problem in this crisis.

    gg
