In the information age, the control of information (or software parameters) are the money maker. This is why groovygirl questions everything that is controlled by software, from stock market trading to US voting machines. Whoever designs the software can change the input/output at any time. Or they can be bought off to change it.
These types of issues are exactly what will happen if we get a global digital currency.
Data integrity for truth output is dead. It is a control mechanism and nothing else. Do your due diligence.
